Vendor Terms and Conditions

Upon purchase of booth rentals or food truck lot rentals you agree to the following terms and conditions:

As a vendor or food truck for Summers Inspired Events it is of the utmost importance that you cooperate and work as a team with other vendors and food trucks in your chosen event.

You will arrive at the event location for set-up and break-down within the correct time frame you are given for each event. You are responsible for your own belongings for the whole duration of the event.

Parking spaces are limited for some events. In events where this is the case, you will be allowed one free parking space with your vendor registration. You may use multiple vehicles temporarily within your loading and offloading zone during set-up and break-down times but only one vehicle will have free parking access during the event. If you would like more parking spaces, you must purchase them through our Summers Inspired Events ticket portal. Note: If you do purchase extra parking, it will likely not be near designated vendor parking areas.

You are responsible for keeping at least one person at your booth or food truck at all times and arriving with enough money to create change for each of your expected shoppers. You may accept any form of payment you choose.

 

You will need to setup and remain in your allotted booth rental or food truck rental lot space and not impede any other space or walk way around you.

For outdoor events you will need to bring coverings for your vendor booths. This can include blankets and sheets over your sales items as well as side walls to fit your canopies.

 

The use of generators in any of our indoor spaces is absolutely prohibited. You may use silent battery operated packs at your own convenience.

The use of generators for any outdoor space must be documented with pictures and specifics on the generator to Summers Inspired Events prior to any outdoor event. You may submit this information to Jayme@SummersInspiredevents.com. Submitting this information will not guarantee the use of your generator on the day of the event. You will need to have it inspected by Summers Inspired Events prior to use at the event, which will be discussed upon your request.

If you are requesting the use of electricity or water (food trucks) for any event there will be an extra charge. The extra charge will be listed upon your registration and the fee is accepted upon checking those options and submitting your application.

You are responsible for keeping your area clean and tidy. Trash, pop bottles/cans, and food are not to be left out irresponsibly. Trash cans will be provided by each venue for disposing of waste. Food sampling is allowed in most venues, for most of our events. If you would like to offer food samples, you will need to list that on your application for further approval. Any vendor or food truck offering samples without Summers Inspired Events approval will be black listed from future events as this could also breach contracts between Summers Inspired Events and other venues causing the company future revenue losses.

 

All cottage food law vendors must have their products labeled and abide by all cottage food laws.

All food trucks must show their current certifications upon arrival to each event.

Food truck waste dumping is not allowed.

Refunds will not be issued for any reason by the purchaser.

In the event that Summers Inspired Events must cancel an event, you will be notified within 7 days of the event and refunds will be offered or the option to transfer your booth to another Summers Inspired Events, event.

 

Summers Inspired Events will not compensate for sales losses, give refunds or future discounts based upon weather. We do not control the weather, neither does any outdoor event or you. By purchasing your vendor booth or food truck rental lot you will accept that these are the normal risks of doing business outside. Complaining about the event, the lack of shoppers or the weather will not do anyone any good. Conducting yourself professionally means to keep a bright and positive outlook no matter the situation because at the end of the day, that is what sells. People are naturally drawn to people with positivity and turned away from people with negativity. Don’t let the weather cost you.

You will not be allowed the following items: CBD or marijuana based products, alcohol, adult sexually vulgar items, guns or anything that has a primary purpose for weaponry, un-labeled cottage food items and anything else Summers Inspired Events deems inappropriate. If you have any questions, please contact Jayme@summersinspiredevents.com and list all items you will want to sell in your application.

If your application has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email of your approval with a receipt of your purchase. Make sure your application is correct before you submit, as the application is stating your intent for purchase. All monies will be deducted from your payment of choice upon review and acceptance of your application.

 

If your application has been denied by Summers Inspired Events you will be notified within 10 days and given the reason.
